In 2019 and 2020 the world watched wildfires overtake Australia and California, and currently it’s California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and other U.S. western states that are being hit very hard by wildfires. I grew up in Colorado and California and have many close contacts in those states, as well as Oregon and Washington, so I’m finding myself alert to the western fire situation. As the west burns, talk of climate change appears more prominently in the national conversation. And still we face, worldwide, the coronavirus and its economic impact, along with many forms of social and political unrest.
Can we find stability beneath all of this turmoil? I believe we can, and we must, for much of our world currently needs to be re-imagined and re-built, and grounding ourselves in our values, desires, and Earth connection is literally essential if we are going to create a future that is sustainable, just, and regenerative.
Although in developed countries and cultures we forgot it for several centuries, we humans are here on the planet in collaboration with Earth and all her beings. Our inter-relationships with plants, animals, micro-organisms, and the elements control our lives. When those relationships are healthy, we flourish. When they break down, we are in danger, whether from fire, lack of water or food, or sickness due to imbalance in our bodily microbiome. What’s wondrous is that there is so much room for beauty, joy, and thriving for all life when we live in cooperative balance with Earth and her many inhabitants. I wholeheartedly believe the 21st century is a time when we will regenerate this cooperation and balance.
This week seems like the perfect time to publish my interview with my friend, Jeilene Tracey, who has not only recently negotiated wildfires in her home state, but is profoundly insightful about our relationship with Earth and how we can be tending it now. Jeilene is alert to the macro level of human interactions with Earth as a being and also specializes in the micro level of micro-organism balance within our bodies. Both macro and micro are versions of the human-nature relationship. You can find the audio of Jeilene’s and my conversation here, and the video here.
Jeilene Tracey is a Vibrational Geneticist who channels Earth beings, sound, and energy to balance the emotional, mental, and physical bodies. She developed the modality Vibrational Genetics with guidance from the inner-Earth Mantis Collective and drawing on her training in molecular biology, Reiki, BodyTalk, ThetaHealing, and Shamanism. Combining the guidance of her Mantis guide, Maree, with aspects of each of these methods, Jeilene offers a healing experience focused on the human experience of being embodied on planet Earth. Collaboration, Health, and Activism
In this podcast episode, Jeilene and I discuss her journey of moving from a conventional background in science and biotech to working with Earth beings as a healer. She shares some of what she has learned about connecting with Earth, and how anyone can make this connection daily for peace, present-moment focus, and health. Jeilene states, “If we are to carry out our purpose here, then we must do it in continual collaboration with Earth.”
Jeilene also comments on how the Mantis beings, stewards of Earth, can teach us about supporting well-being for all life on Earth, and how we can work with the Mantis if we wish.
We continue with a discussion of how to manage your own microbiome for overall health and as an aspect of your collaboration with the natural world.
Jeilene also offers her perspective on how activism and the pursuit of social justice fit with our human journey on Earth.
I think you’ll love this interview with Jeilene. She’s one of my favorite human beings. If our conversation leaves you wanting support with discerning your own Earth connection and furthering your contributions to our collaboration with Earth, learn about my mentoring sessions here.
